My name is Julia Miller, and I am a video editor and social media content creator. My goal is to aid in the production of content that inspires creation and storytelling, as well as connecting and engaging a diverse audience accross a multitude of digital platforms.

About Me
When I was ten years old I discovered iMovie had a template to drag and drop video clips to make personalized movie trailers. Having always found entertainment in storytelling, I was thrilled to utilize this feature to make trailers for the stories I would create using my favorite toys. From this small discovery on the family computer, the doors were opened to a passion for video content creation that I would continue to follow throughout my adolescence into adulthood.
My exploration developed and grew to encompass a wide range of skill sets and content genres, ranging from video blogs to music covers to documentary style video essays. As I expanded my knowledge in another field of mine I hold a passion for, Theatre, I studied an abundance of video production skills specifically tied to video post-production. Classes such as Intermediate and Advanced Editing for TV, Color Correction, Visual Effects, Documentary Film Production, Media Production for Social Media, and Cinema Studies have provided me with skills directly and indirectly transferable to a number of video editing formats. With each new skill I acquired I further deepened my passion and formed a love for learning about video production.
We are privileged to exist in a world in which we have the tools to transform what exists in our imaginations to something that can be seen on screen. I hold the art of creation at the forefront of every endeavor I embark on, and firmly believe in using said tools to invoke positive experiences and connect one another.
Oh, and if you want some fun facts, I love otters, my favorite movie is Wall-E, I collect coffee mugs and funky earrings, and my favorite snack is queso cheese dip and tortilla chips.
